Dr. Michael Killough opened his practice, Vision Care Consultants, in 2005. He is President and Optometric Physician. Dr. Killough is a member of the American Optometric Association and Arkansas Optometric Association.
Dr. Killough graduated from Blytheville High School in Blytheville, AR. in May 1994. He went on to graduate from Lyon College, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in 1998. Dr. Killough graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. in May 2002. After optometry school he traveled throughout Northeast Arkansas filling in for doctors that needed him, until he opened his own practice in 2005. He has been serving Northeast Arkansas for 22 years.
Dr. Michael Killough is an Optometric Physician. He is licensed in Arkansas to diagnose and treat eye diseases, eye infections, and eye injuries, such as: diabetic retinopathy, corneal abrasion (scratch on eye), foreign body removal, eye pain or redness, infections (pink eye), distortion or blurred vision, flashes or floaters, dry eye, and itchy eyes due to allergy.
Dr. Killough is married to Beverly and they have three girls, Alexis, Kenleigh, and Braelyn. He has a love for all cars, but mostly for fast cars. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, reading a good book, spending time with his family, working on cars, and drag racing.

Beverly has worked in the eye care field since 2003. She has worked most of those years alongside her husband, Dr. Michael Killough. Beverly is Vice President, Administrator, Insurance Coordinator, and Marketing Manager of Vision Care Consultants. She has experience with every position in the office. She helps wherever needed, so our office can operate efficiently, and our patients receive the best care. When she is not in the front office, she is spending her time behind the scenes filing insurance, accounts receivable, accounts payable, marketing, and all other responsibilities that come along with managing the business.
When Beverly is not working, she is spending time with her family. She loves fitness/strength training, fast cars, crafting, traveling, and making memories with her family.

Alexis joined Vision Care Consultants as a team member in April 2019. She has been in and out of the office many times before, because she is the daughter of Dr. Michael Killough and Beverly. Alexis is our Office Manager and Insurance Verification Specialist. She is one of the first smiles you see in our office. She handles all of the insurance verification, check-in and check-out, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, and other front desk responsibilities. When needed she assists with pre-testing patients, teaching new contact lens wearers insertion and removal, and assisting with glasses through certain insurance companies.
When Alexis is not at work she is spending time with her husband Braxten, and fur babies Remi and Harper. Alexis loves traveling, fast cars, and crafting.

Glenda joined Vision Care Consultants in 2009. She is the mother of Dr. Michael Killough, and played the biggest part in who he is today. Glenda is our Secretary-Treasurer. Although she does not work in the office anymore, she handles all of our bookkeeping.
Glenda has been married to Jerry for over 50 years. She enjoys spending time with her fur baby Bubby, shopping, decorating, working in her yard, and spoiling her three grandchildren.
